How It Works
Submit your Case
You must fill out the case submission form as completely and accurately as possible.
Pay Administrative Fee
An initial administrative fee paid directly to MCLA of $150 is due upon submission per party.
MCLA Mediator
Once fees are paid a mediator will be assigned based on the availability and suitability.
Pay Mediator Fee
Pay your reduced fee directly to the Mediator. Fees are divided equally among the parties unless otherwise agreed to.
NOTE: MCLA cannot provide any legal advice. All administrative fees are non-refundable and must be paid in order for the case to be assigned to a mediator. All parties must sign a Mediation and Confidentiality Agreement provided by the mediator. The mediator's fee is paid directly to the mediator before a scheduled date can be secured.
BUILDING COMMUNITY THROUGH MEDIATION
The Los Angeles Superior Court recognized the Mediation Center of Los Angeles for our commitment to expanding affordable access to justice through mediation.
Since 2017, MCLA has been proud to provide high-quality, low-cost mediation services across Los Angeles County and in partnership with the Los Angeles Superior Court.
William Molfetta
“Building rapport and trust is critical in mediation. I always advise the parties that I’m a neutral participant and that I’m going to try my hardest to get their case settled.”
